Managers & Coaches,
IWV Youth Baseball Association is in the process of setting up a Live Scan account with the Department of Justice. I hope to have the account set up by the end of January. Once the account is up and running, all Managers and Coaches will be required to have a Live Scan completed. I know some or most of you have been live scanned with the city, but you will still need the Live Scan for IWV Youth Baseball. I myself have had three live scans, but I will have to get another for baseball.
In the interim, we will approve Managers and Coaches by reviewing your application and references. This will only be a pre-approval until your Live Scan has been completed and reviewed. At which time, you will be approved or not approved to coach our youths.
I do not have a hard number on the cost, but have been told that since we are a non-profit organization the cost would be approximately $15.00. This cost will be the Manager's or Coach's responsibility.
